On Friday the 25th of May the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect, replacing the previous 1995 data protection directive, upon which current UK law is based.

What does GDPR mean for me?
GDPR streamlines data protection procedures across all EEC countries, making it easier for any business wanting to trade in the UK and EEC.

More importantly, GDPR allows individuals easier access to the data that companies hold about them and defines clear responsibilities for businesses to obtain consent before collecting information. This should improve standards in relation to the security of your personal data.

We have updated our Privacy Notice to meet the requirements of the new framework and have also implemented the required internal procedures to ensure that as a business we are fully GDPR compliant.

We welcome your feedback, so please let us know if you have any concerns or questions and we'll be happy to answer them.
